These guys are the real deal. I had a couple companies give estimates before them, and the Flooring Spot blew the competitors away by a long shot. I happened to stumble into their store one day, and was blown away by how helpful and thoughtful they were. They answered my bazillion questions, and really took the time to help me pick out the perfect flooring. Their showroom is big, with tons of options, and they even let me take home samples (something both competitors did not allow me to do). Their estimate was extremely competitive, so it was an easy choice. The installation process was so smooth. The installation team was very professional and overall just really nice guys. The installation job was literally perfect. We have had a couple of minor issues with the flooring (to be expected, and not their fault at all), and they have been extremely responsive in correcting the issues. They literally sent a guy over the next day to resolve it. They even threw in some free spare boxes for the hassle (they definitely didn’t need to). I only share that to show how they stand by their work and want their customers 100% happy. That’s the sign of a superior company. If you need flooring, look no further!

Prices are really high compared to other small business in the area. There are no prices on the samples which is annoying. I know the install price of LVP runs $3-$5 a sf with no removal . I stated I wanted 6mil I advised I wanted to pay about $8.00 installed no removal no furniture he stated his 7ml starts at $6.50 I asked if install price he states no. That is ridiculously high for 7 ml since he knew my budget I have about 2000sf to cover he walked away and sat at his desk and he said he could not help me with that budget.
As a small business owner myself please put the prices on the samples very frustrating when you are working on a budget. Total waste of my time.

Pricing transparency: You’re right that clear pricing matters. We’re updating our showroom labels so product samples display material pricing more clearly, and we’ll make sure we explain material vs. installation costs up front.
Budget-friendly options: We do have several LVP options at and around your target budget, including 6 mil wear layer choices and value lines that can come in near $8/sf installed depending on scope. We should have presented those to you and offered a side-by-side breakdown.
Communication: We’re disappointed to hear you felt dismissed. That’s not the experience we want for anyone. We’re reviewing this with our team to ensure we listen, offer alternatives, and provide transparent quotes.

We replaced the carpet on our second story with luxury vinyl flooring. Had a few quotes out with other companies in the area and The Flooring Spot beat everyone by far. Super easy and convenient locations in Ocoee and Hamlin. Marisa and Ralph are wonderful and so informative. The customer service during the sale and selection process was outstanding, and the install was even better! I think its the first time we’ve hired someone to do a project that actually showed up on time every single day (or even earlier) and we were so appreciative. They were very attentive to our furniture and cleaning and more than happy to fix final touches as needed. Antonio was so pleasant. Total install took 3 days. Ralph at Flooring Spot Ocoee was amazing throughout the whole process. We got luxury vinyl plank for our entire home, and the selection and price couldn’t be beaten. We got quotes at a few different places, and we were able to get floors and all new baseboards for less than just floors at other spots. Installation was also smooth and professional. We choice floor spot to do our floor project this august, I gave 4star out of 5 to this company, I worked with Douglas 99% of the time and he is a professional in his field and very knowledgeable in product, the project finished beautifully and on time! ( very important in my opinion) I took one star off only cuz it takes nearly a months for them to fix last part of the job ( only 15mins worth of work so it is not a big deal ) . But overall I am still happy our choice. Contact with Douglas and get your job done.
